The Imperfectly Perfect Smile

We don’t want your teeth to be perfect.

But we create smiles that looks like you have the right DNA — not just access to a great dentist.

We employ the principles of biomimetic restorative dentistry -- we attempt to mimic nature as expressed by your unique genetic heritage.

We take into account the unique shape and color of each patient’s natural face skin color — not just giving every mouth a set of “perfect” teeth.

The result is light-years away from the bathroom-white porcelain Chiclets-capped smile of yesteryear.

Biomimetics utilizes natural variation and slight asymmetries between the left and right side of your smile. The two front teeth may be left slightly longer, which gives a slight ‘V-shape’ to the smile and an overall balance that is far more natural.  Each smile is framed by the unique heritance expressed in the lips.

A dental technician (or ceramist) plays a key role in this approach. Working with the skill of a fine jeweler, the ceramicist hones color, hue, shape and thinness of veneers to subtly enhance the natural tooth, taking skin tone and other characteristics into account.

While reproducing a natural-looking tooth is artistically more demanding,
A natural, winning smile, can become your own subtle expression of how highly you value preserving natural beauty wherever it is found—even in your mouth.

None of us chooses our parents.  Which is why it is all the more imporatant that we connect with a dentist who comprehends that "Less can be More".
