Gunk Between Your Teeth

The Definition of a true friend is someone who will tell you that "You Have Gunk Between Your Teeth".

One of the “joys” of advancing age that is seldom discussed in polite company is the increased amount of gunk that collects between your teeth.  Everyone displays a greater or lesser amount to gum recession.  This is where the phrase "Getting long in the Tooth" comes from.

And as the gum recedes the spaces between the teeth start to open up collect more debris.  This is the cause of the tooth root decay that occurs more frequently in older mouths with gum recession.

The take away message from this change in the gums is that tooth brushing is no longer sufficient to keep your teeth clean—you have to use Dental Floss or a WaterPik to remove the food that is trapped between your teeth.

You can prove this to yourself bay brushing and then using the WaterPik -- you will invariably be able to see the particles left behind by the using the tooth brush, alone.

Call us and we can send you a $5.00 off coupon toward the purchase of a WaterPik—it will be doing yourself a favor.
