Hidden Tooth Damage Claims

Un-Noticed Internal Tooth damage following an accident or fall.

A very common occurrence, a fall or accident, can injure an arm or a leg or a back muscle and cause pain.

An unnoticed event also may have occurred-when you jammed your teeth together.  Now, the primary injury elsewhere in your body gets  the attention because it hurts.  But the teeth damge is ignored or not apparent.

But there may be an injury or internal crack to a tooth or several teeth because the jaw slammed shut with such force.

My experience has been that 18 months or a couple of years later a tooth nerve dies and a toothache starts because of the accident that is seldom remembered and associated to the hidden damage in the teeth.

The Take-Away message?  Don't settle an insurance claim until you are very sure that there is no hidden damage in your teeth.
