Eva Grayzel is a brave and generous survivor of advanced  tongue cancer.  Brave for having come though such a harrowing experience and generous because she has chosen to tell her story so that others might be motivated to spare themselves a similar trial.

 

A few weeks ago I noticed an exultant photo of Eva in the Sunday New York Times Travel section.  In the photo she was caught mid-air in a huge leap of what it looks like to Leap into Joy.
