The Time-Honored advice “all things in moderation” can apply to food intake.
But in addition to the amounts of acid foods is the TIME EXPOSURE to the acid in your mouth.
Dr. Russell reminds us that the time of exposure counts more than the Amount of acid food.
“Small snacks” of acid foods for long periods of time is MORE injurious to the teeth than consuming the same amount of acidic food all at one sitting.
